Description
Sheoak (Allocasuarina spp.) is a distinctive Australian hardwood known for its attractive reddish-brown colouring, fine grain and characteristic medullary rays. Dense and durable, it is well suited to woodturning, knife handles, boxes, furniture, small craft projects and other fine woodworking applications. As a natural timber, variations in colour, grain and figure are to be expected, and small cracks, checks, holes or other natural imperfections may occasionally be present. Photographs are representative of typical appearance.
