Black Palmwood, an exotic and distinctive hardwood, is renowned for its unique appearance and exceptional qualities. Sourced and supplied by Exotic Hardwoods UK Ltd, a leading provider of premium exotic hardwoods, Black Palmwood offers an exciting choice for craftsmen, artisans, and woodworking enthusiasts seeking a material that stands out in both aesthetics and durability.

Originating from Southeast Asia, particularly in countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, Black Palmwood is derived from the trunk of the black palm tree (Pholidocarpus macrocarpus). The wood’s striking appearance is characterized by a dark, almost black color, combined with a unique grain pattern that showcases the growth rings and vascular bundles of the tree. This distinctive aesthetic makes Black Palmwood a sought-after material for various high-end applications.
