Ambonya Burr, originating from Southeast Asia, is one of the world’s most luxurious and decorative timbers. Sourced from the burls of the Narra tree, this wood is renowned for its intense reddish-golden tones and complex swirling grain patterns that create a highly figured, almost three-dimensional effect.
Its fine texture and natural lustre make Ambonya Burr a top choice for high-end veneers, luxury furniture, turned items, and decorative inlays. When polished, it achieves a deep, radiant glow that enhances its intricate figuring and warm colour palette.
⚠️ Note: As a naturally grown burr, pieces may include small cracks, voids, or irregular shapes. These unique characteristics are considered part of the wood’s organic beauty and rarity.
